RAGE
ALL VESSELS ARRIVING IN THE HARBOUR WITH ANIMALS ON BOARD WILL BE SUBJECT TO CONTROLLED MOORING.
The landing of animals from vessels arriving in Guernsey directly or indirectly from places other than the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey or the other islands of the Bailiwick of Guernsey is strictly prohibited. Any animal on board any such vessel in the harbour in the Bailiwick or at anchor or moored in the territorial waters adjacent thereto must remain securely confined within an enclosed part of the vessel from which it cannot escape. Any such animal found ashore or not confined on the vessel will be detained and may be subject to six months’ quarantine or destroyed and the master of the vessel prosecuted. Unless express permission is granted by a Customs officer, no vessel with an animal on board may moor alongside a pontoon or quay. Under no circumstances will any vessel, irrespectve of its previous port of call, be permited to enter the marinas with any animal aboard.

Le débarquement des animaux à partir de navires arrivant à Guernesey directement ou indirectement de pays autres que le Royaume-Uni, la République d’Irlande, l’île de Man, Jersey ou les autres îles du bailliage de Guernesey est strictement interdit. Tout animal à bord d’un tel navire dans le port dans le Bailliage ou à l’ancre ou amarré dans les eaux territoriales adjacentes doit rester hermétiquement clos dans un cadre fermé du navire à partir duquel il ne peut échapper. Tout animal trouvé à terre ou ne se limite pas à bord du navire sera détenu et peut être soumis à la quarantaine de six mois, ou détruit et le capitaine du navire poursuivi. Sauf si une autorisaton formelle est accordée par un agent des douanes, aucun navire avec un animal à bord peut accoster un ponton ou quai. En aucun cas, un navire, quel que soit son précédent port d’escale, est autorisé à entrer dans les ports de plaisance avec un animal à bord.
